Nestor Funelas was born in the remote jungles of the Philippines. He would later relocate to Florida in 1989 with his family to a little town called Palm Bay. It was there he found his love for dance during his teenage years and became a "Breakdancer". After many years he saw the ability it had to transform kids lives around as it did his, so he started teaching free classes which eventually grew over the next couple of years, where he mentored teens and taught break dancing classes.
Nestor saw the need to grow in his craft so he eventually moved New York and Los Angeles California for Music and Dance. While in New York and LA, he studied in critically acclaimed training facilities such as Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Millenium Dance Complex, Movement Lifestyle, Debbie Reynolds, IDA (Hollywood) and Edge. Nestor has also had the previlidge of working in New Yorks Promise Theater, American Airlines Theater, TBN Theater, Brighton Beach "Shorefront Y" as Artistic Director, Carnival "Choreographers ball", Lecrae just to name a few.
He toured the country with All Access Productions after having attended the University of the Nations for a degree in theology and performing arts, after many years of teaching and performing throughout New York and Los Angeles, Nestor saw a need to break away from the traditional molds of the industry and musical theatre and merge his performing arts experiences with a message of hope and change for a new generation. In 2011 Nestor moved back to Brevard County Fl. where he developed and launched Sole180 Productions. A live show production company. The first of its kind in Brevard County.
