Juan Betancourt

Sole180 is proud to present the talented Juan Betancourt. Mr. Betancourt was originally a studio trained dancer, he started dancing when he was six years old in San Juan Puerto Rico. He quickly developed a taste for performance hip hop and sought a way to pursue it after moving to the states.


He would later take part in an all-star competitive dance team "Extreme Allstars" and won titles such as 1st place in the 2009 Dance Worlds coed hip-hop competition, and two time runner up for the 2012, and 2013 international Co Ed hip hop division.


Later, he was hired by 2010's Americas Got Talent second runner up act "Fighting Gravity" and as a result of this, Juan has performed in places such as Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the American Music Awards with Will. I. Am. and Jennifer Lopez, and places all over the world (United Kingdom, Dubai, Russia, Austria etc. ).


He's also taken part in National Geographic's "Brain Games" and can be see in Nathan Frankowski's "To Write Love In Her Arms" staring Kat Dennings, Chad Michael Murray, and Corbin Bleu. Since 2010 Juan Betancourt has made multiple appearances on Americas Got Talent, and continues to tour with "Fighting Gravity". Currently he is a member of the Sole180 Production Company and can be found performing, teaching classes, choreographing and or behind the camera.
